Blue King Studios fielded a team of some fine writers and artists at the star studded 24 Hour Comics contest. It is a National competition, but the local field office for the event was Hosted by the generous folks at POP Comics in Sarasota, FL.
24 Hour Comics is a contest to produce a standard comic book in 24 Hours, starting from Scratch at 12:01 Saturday morning April 24, 2004 and Finishing at Midnight the same day. Comics are usually produced at a glacial 24 pages a month, so a page an hour is a killer.
Blue King Studios artists and writers stepped up to the plate for a calendar day of typing, sketching, writing, inking, scanning, photoshopping, and painstakingly drawing to crank out 24 full pages of comic.
A day later, after much graphite and ink had been dispensed...everyone was pretty pleased with the results. Here they are. presented for your viewing pleasure.
